Wen i did the experiment MG reacted with HCL by giving of small bubbles. Potassium Hydroxide dissolved partially, and gave small bubbles. These follow the simplest reactions in chemistry
Acid + metal = salt + hydrogen
Acid + alkali = salt + water
Acid + carbonate = salt + water + carbon dioxide
