Why Oil Is A Great Way To Heat Your Home
Two of the most popular ways to heat your home are gas and oil. Heating oil is a very popular form of heating the home with millions of people using it. The main source of heating oil is crude oil but these days biofuels are actually used too. Kerosene, diesel and a mixture of residual fuel and distillate fuel are the three main types of petroleum heating oil. Although kerosene has the least impurities, this fact makes it the most expensive. Diesel has more impurities than kerosene but is more affordable and is the choice for most homes.
The global cost of crude oil is constantly changing and this directly affects the price of heating oil. However, there are other factors which affect the price of heating oil. The price of oil can rise quite suddenly if there is a sudden demand for oil due to a drop in weather temperatures for example. The wise people however, will fill their oil tanks up during the summer months when the prices are generally lower. That way there is no need to pay the high prices when the cold weather kicks in. But those who wanted to really take advantage of the lower prices could think about installing another tank so that they could have two tank fulls of cheaper priced oil before the higher prices appear.
Another form of heating that is used instead of heating oil is natural gas. The main benefit of natural gas is that is directly pumped into people's homes. Unlike oil, gas does not need to be ordered in but rather is available all the time when it is required. However, because gas prices are on the rise, there are still plenty of people who prefer to stick to heating their homes with oil. Also natural gas is still not available in some rural areas so oil is still preferable as a heating choice for many.
Getting the home heated up during winter can be very expensive. Electricity and gas prices are very high and show no signs of coming down any time soon. Savvy people are changing over to oil as a home fuel though. And when this happens they have to ensure the tanks re always full of heating oil to ensure they never run out.

My personal opinion I think that things will get much worse. If you think about it. The rich will not invest their money anymore. The oil/gas companies still want their profits so you better believe that the gas prices will go up. You think that they are high now.

Obama wants to tax anyone making 200.000 dollars or more. If he continues with this insanity he will lose big Business to Europe they have 11% tax on big Business we already have 45% he will chase big Business out of America and kill the small. People don't invest when taxes are high and there is a recession on it's makes no sense. We need money to be reinvested and the people to buy and increasing taxes is not the answer at a time like now. Obama is sticking with the tax increase and will put other programs on hold for a few years. So tell me what good is the man if he can't change????? Will someone tell Obama he only has 4 years as president. McCain/Palin for Country!!
