Hss Drill Bits Are Excellent For Drilling The Holes, What Do You Think?
I was recently asked to do a contract in an office which required putting together the component parts of a desktop computer. My boss said that HSS drill bits were excellent for drilling the holes in order to place the component parts together. He had used HSS drill bits before for a similar job and found them to be much better than the drill bits he’d used in the past.
I typed HSS drill bits into my search engine and came across Maintechmro.com, a maintenance solution company. Maintech sold a complete range of HSS drill bits, as well as SDS drill bits and drill bit sets, and the price was very competitive. I phoned up and ordered the bits over the phone, and the advisor was very friendly and helpful. When I told him about the kind of work I did he recommended I took the SDS drill bits as well, and the whole lot reached me the next working day.
When I got to drilling the PC parts, I was pleased with how durable and tough the HSS drill bits were. Also, the self centring 130 degree angle design saved me a lot of precious time as I didn’t need to punch a leading mark. The Maintech advisor had told me that the bits stood up to high temperatures when you use the right lubricant, and I found this to be accurate, and had no problems with wear and tear or erosion.
Another contract I had meant doing some heavy masonry work, including drilling some bricks and stone. This is where the 5mm and 12mm SDS drill bits I had ordered came in handy. The SDS drill bits, used with an SDS drill, gave me a really targeted hammering action, and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I finished the job. I also felt in greater control with the SDS drill bits as they are specially designed to slip less. As with the HSS drill bits, the SDS drill bits seemed to have greater longevity, as the tip didn’t wear down as quickly as other drill bits I’ve used, which is an added bonus as it saves me money.
I’ve recently ordered a complete drill bit set from Maintech so I’m ready for any kind of contract that involves drilling. I really would highly recommend HSS drill bits and SDS drill bits to any contractors who want a solid tool that does that job, and that saves you time and money in the process!
